Ender's Game (Ender Wiggin Series #1)

Ender's Game (Ender Wiggin Series #1) - An enjoyable read; not so sure I liked the premise of children being trained as soldiers, but a good premise in general. I read this book because "Ender's Game" kept appearing in various articles I was reading and some podcasts I was listening to or watching. What caught my attention was the repeated mention of the 'surprise' ending and how, a la 'The Sixth Sense', it remains largely unspoiled for those who haven't read or viewed the book or movie.Well, I didn't know the ending of Ender's Game, but I did enjoy the ending of the Sixth Sense - I am not averse to being manipulated by books (or movies), that's one of the reason I read (and see movies) - and I like Science Fiction so I read it.If you don't know the ending of 'Ender's Game' and like Science Fiction then you will also like this book.[NOTE: I typically do not re-hash plot or characters in my reviews/comments as there are plenty of plot and character representations available and better written than I can ever do. My goal is write my thoughts of the book and my motivations for reading it - Lee]
