Saving Ceecee Honeycutt - Beth Hoffman

A Nook daily special.  It's been a while since I read a 'Southern' novel, we (I?) need a new Ferrol Sams/T R Pearson, and this sounded interesting.

Ms. Hoffman created a good narrative, just not deep enough.  A few good eccentric characters, but not eccentric enough.  This is more YA than I thought, but for a buck or so, not bad.

I am expecting more from Jeannette Walls' "The Silver Star" which just came out and received a favorable review in the NYT Book Review.
